    Notizen I’m playing around with my Angels Around Me Sweater Pattern. I knit it in Paintbox Yarns Simply DK with US Size 6 / 4 mm needles using the Newborn instructions. This is heavier yarn and larger needles than the pattern called for so it worked up to a 3 to 6 month size. I made a few modifications including slipping the first stitch in every row for a neater button band, changing the raglan decrease to k2tog, sm, ssk and using a provisional cast on for the sleeves. This is a bottom up cardigan but I prefer knitting the sleeves top down. The yarn is very soft after washing and super easy for busy moms. I just tossed it in the washing machine and dryer. And the yarn is much lower cost.
