    About

As everyone knows... Hexagons are best-a-gons. But I really wanted to work with Bernat Pop Bulky and see how it striped. This is a great project for it.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 15.00mm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

Fits up to a 46in bust. Alterations included.

Notes: Since I used Bernat POP! Bulky yarn and only had 3 skeins (441yds), I was only able to make each hexagon 7 rounds instead of 8.

Added rows to front in LB Hometown for more room in front+button closures. Also added cuffs to sleeves. Would advise adding cuffs & buttons if you prefer a more fitted look.

Regardless, the additional tailoring worked fine for my size onc ei ran out of the Bernat yarn, but to be safe, I also added another row of DC stitches to the back seam of each hexagon before I seamed up the back. I was heavily pregnant, so I thought it was a good idea to have enough coverage, & since I frogged round 8 of the first hexagon, I had enough left over yarn that it was doable. The last round (round 8) will use 52.5yds all by itself, so that's a warning to all you out there using the Bernat yarn instead of what's recommended. Each hexagon at 8 rounds in Bernat POP! Bulky will be around 246 yards each. Which is 4 skeins.
