    About

I have started knitting and crocheting samples of patterns in less expensive yarn before using a pricer one…I have been burned by too many poorly written patterns both available for free and paid (though, if there is an ad free pdf version of a pattern I like, I tend to purchase it for several reasons-most especially to be supportive of my fellow fiber artists. This is a WONDERFUL beginner crochet pattern by the way! I highly recommend it! There are instructions for several sizes from kids through adults.

    Pattern

    Easy Breezy Super Chunky Beanie

This pattern can be found here:

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 9.00mm (US 13)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : Faux fur ball for the top of the beanie! SO adorable!

    Measurements

Notes: Adult medium with brim, appropriately 11” tall. This yarn is technically a “print” so it only had 87 yards as opposed to the 106 on solid colored Thick&Quick…I ran out in the last two rows and had to use a small part of another skein to finish and sew the hat together…This size fit my head which is 23”….and I have thick, curly hair. It’s a very flexible ribbed pattern.

This color of Woolease Thick&Quick seems to have been discontinued, it’s called “Dusk”.
