    About

Just a little fun knit. Very easy quick knit, couple of hours at most. Sewing up not quite as much fun, an art I've not quite completly mastered. My least favourite job and one I avoid if I can, generaly going for patterns that I can knit in the round. The pattern is in aid of Wood Green Animal Charity so all proceeds go there. Only took a little bit of yarn so loads left over to go into my ever increasing stash !!

The pattern is available on the love crafts site.

Ohh he is so cute ,I love his long legs and look at his gorgeous wee face. I always find the smaller the toy the more fiddly the sewing up is. Your charity will be thrilled to receive this wee man Jean.😊😊😊

Thank you Michelle. Yes you are absolutely right, πŸ˜‚ Much more fiddly than the chunky draft excluder dog I made. Not in your league of course.Sewing up definitely hardest bit !! I don’t make very many toys. But occasionally I come across something and just want to make it. x

@Michelle M: Thank you Michelle 😊 yes we are often over critical of ourselves. But believe me socks are a lot easier. There are a few over complicated sock patterns out there that can be quite scary . But have found in practice all you really need is a simple pattern that fits well. 😊x

@Jean F: they look really complicated to me Jean and then I hear you all talking about which toe etc etc.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚i would have a problem using dpns though as due to arthritis I wouldnt have the strength to hold them. I am happy just enjoying your beautiful knits.πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ’•πŸ’•

@Michelle M: The DPN’s can be a bit fiddly until you get used to them. Especially first few rows , but does get much easier. Suppose it’s what we get used to, I can’t seem to get on at all with the magic loop, although some seem to love it. I usually use 5” bamboo needles so they are very light, but suppose May hold them differently so flexibility might come into. I did come across a sock pattern knitted in the flat and seamed. Happy Knitting 🧢😊x
