    About

I love making these cardi's, so good for using up stash yarns and playing around with colour combos. This is a free pattern available on Ravelry. Although it's for a 1yr old, I use DK rather than worsted weight and being a tight knitter it tends to come out 6 month size.

Thank you Linzi, just had a photo of her wearing it today so it fits with a bit of growing room (she's 7 months old) 😁

What a great colour combination Joan and how lucky were you to have enough wool.😊it's such a fun pattern and what a great idea to use dk and it just comes out a bit smaller.πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•

Never use worsted weight and think it'd be quite heavy for a baby cardi? πŸ€”
